Job description

The Branch Infrastructure and Technology Senior Officer provides technical support for IT systems and ensures the smooth operation, maintenance of the branches and branding, and security of office facilities. This role involves assisting with IT troubleshooting, hardware and software management, as well as overseeing office infrastructure, security, and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities

BIT Support:
● Supports the BIT Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
● Assists in budget planning and resource allocation for BIT needs.
● Manages BIT projects, including infrastructure upgrades and bring new initiatives
● Coordinates IT policies, compliance, and security protocols.
● Oversees BIT operations, ensuring systems and networks function optimally.
● Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage software licensing compliance.
● Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
● Support end-users with IT-related problems, including system access and connectivity.
● Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as computers, printers, and telecommunication devices.
● Assist in data backup, cybersecurity measures, and system updates.
● Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring IT access and security protocols are followed.
● Branch Locations, Analyzing, Scouting, selecting, Designing and setting up new and upcoming locations.
● Coordinate repairs and maintenance of all branches, this includes systems, furniture ,equipment and
   branding.
● Support the implementation of security measures, including CCTV monitoring and access control systems.
● Ensure compliance with workplace safety and emergency response protocols.
● Assist in managing relationships with external service providers (security, contractors, utilities, etc.).
● Monitor BIT-related expenses and assist in cost management initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:
● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in IT and facility-related issues.
● Basic knowledge of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity best practices.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
● Project Management
● Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with employees and service providers.
● Knowledge of safety and security protocols for office environments.

Qualifications & Experience:
● Degree in IT, or a related field.
● At least 3 years of experience in IT support and/or facilities management
● At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
● Proven track record in vendor management, IT procurement, and budgeting..
● Must be proficient in Microsoft software including Operations Systems
● Hard ware, network, and Software & System troubleshooting
● Systems maintenance
