You would be responsible for:
A. Supporting SRHR Programme team
- Assist with logistical arrangements for meetings, missions, workshops and events, including procurement of standard supplies and logistical coordination.
- Assist with collection of supporting documents for payments.
B. Research and Knowledge Management Sharing Support
- Assist in the archiving, filing and maintenance of up-to-date electronic mailing lists on SRHR programme matters.
- Record and distribute SRHR programme meeting minutes in a timely manner and assist the SRHR Specialist by following up on agreed actions and implementation of tasks, where appropriate.
- Provide administrative support in compiling information for progress reports.
C. General Support
- Carry out any other duties as may be required by UNFPA management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Completed Secondary Level Education required.
- Additional training or certification in administration or office management is an asset.
Knowledge and Experience:
Four years of relevant experience in project/programme support in private, national and/or international organizations including some experience in research assistance.
- Previous experience in the UN system is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy – Word, Excel, Power-point, etc.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience in disability inclusive and gender transformative programming is an asset.
Languages:
Fluency in oral and written English. Working knowledge of another UN Official Language, an asset.
