General activities for Enumerator include:
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative primary data collection through key informant interviews, focus group discussions and household surveys, with participants diligently and professionally in assigned areas.
- Attend and participate in relevant trainings related to data collection.
- Support the improvement of data collection tools through pretesting session.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data collection according to project protocols.
- Upload collected data, review and revise any submitted questionnaires.
- Assist in qualitative data cleaning, especially collected through focus group discussions.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards throughout the survey process.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to you by the supervisors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Economics, Social Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in data collection, surveys, or fieldwork preferred.
- Familiar with Survey solutions, Kobo collect or ODK collect.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Availability to work in rural parts of Zimbabwe.
- Excellent command of English and Other Major Local Language
