MAIN PURPOSE OF THE INTERNSHIP

Join us for a 3-6months program offering personal and professional growth as you work with experienced team members. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the success of our team while developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic business environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation.
  • Support in ensuring efficient, timely and accurate recording and payment processing in Sage 300®
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of tax schedules.
  •  Assist in supporting the annual audit by retrieving the sampled documents and preparing schedules.
  •  Assist in ensuring proper documentation and accounting for travel allowances & reimbursement vouchers and all other supporting documents.
  • Assist in the thorough review and verification of purchase transactions, ensuring appropriate purchase order matching, credit terms and adherence to appropriate authorization and budget confirmation and clearance.
  • Provide administrative support for financial tasks and contribute to improving internal processes.
  •  Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and charts).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools or methods is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
