You support the person responsible for implementation in the technical planning, management and preparation of change offers and other documentation
• You support the coordination between the energy program and its political partners or implementation partners at government and private sector level.
• You support the preparation and quality assurance of reports, status reports, presentations and other forms of communication, or contribute to reporting to the clients.
• You support the program management in identifying and reviewing further co-financing options, bilateral projects and the next planning phase of EnDev for the years 202ff.
• You support contract management and are involved in the management and quality assurance of assignments by international and national contractors.
• You support impact monitoring and reporting, as well as public relations and communication.
• You are involved in knowledge management both within the project and in exchanges with other projects and employees.
Education
University degree in the field of energy, engineering, environment, international cooperation, economics or business administration or comparable qualification
• Initial experience abroad in international cooperation is an advantage, ideally in Africa and/or Asia
• Initial professional experience in the energy sector, preferably in the field of decentralized renewable energies and innovative renewable energy systems
• Specialist knowledge in the areas of project development, private sector development and financing is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of GIZ procedures in the context of the procurement of services and goods is an advantage
• High social skills and a high degree of intercultural sensitivity, commitment, team spirit, reliability and intercultural understanding
• Careful and structured work, even under great time pressure, as well as very good self-organization and reliability
• Fluent German and English
