Qualifications, experience and attributes
 The candidate needs to have at least a BSc or HND in soil science, environmental soil physics
or related field.
Responsibilities
 To collect samples from a variety of sources (e.g. water, soil air plants), including utilizing
proper sampling collection and handling techniques.
 To perform accurate and precise analyses of samples.
 To operate, maintain and calibrate analytical instruments and equipment.
 To use computer, spread sheets and data management systems for recordkeeping,
reporting, and data analyses.
 To keep accurate and legible records.
 To undertake operational activities required to fulfil the requirements of the Environmental
Plan.
 To prepare and supervise students practicals.
 To conduct environmental sampling, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
 To provide community outreach in the field of environmental soil physics.
 To initiate and implement research & development programs in the field of environmental
soil physics.
