We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transactional Banking Specialist to join our dynamic CIB Cash Management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and nurturing key client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the best specialists in in the business and make a significant impact on our clients’ transactional banking needs.
Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include the following;
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the top-tier client segment.
- Retaining and expanding existing key client relationships by cross-selling and up-selling transactional banking products.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring Absa is their preferred choice for transactional banking solutions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized Cash Management solutions to clients.
- Driving strategic relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Proactively identifying and sourcing complex Cash Management opportunities.
- Leveraging product expertise and business acumen to provide bespoke Cash Management solutions.
- Working closely with Coverage Bankers and Transactional Banking Solution Specialists to implement portfolio sales plans.
- Engaging in joint business development initiatives to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements:

- A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Commerce, or a Post Graduate degree (will be advantageous).
- 5 years or more of product experience in a Corporate and Investment Bank.
- Strong understanding of corporate client Cash Management needs and Treasury Management operating systems.

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
