Tasks and responsibilities
In close collaboration with ace branches and focal points, the incumbent will:
• Support the implementation and maintenance of FAO.org web pages, ensuring a fully functional, mobile friendly version is released according to FAO work-plan and though skilled use of the Corporate Web Content Management System (Sitefinity).
• Contribute to the versioning and releases of the FAO Design System (https://design-system.fao.org/).
• Support on digital campaigns, including drafting of campaign strategies, overseeing production of content related to the campaign, creating content
• plans and producing final evaluation reports.
• Develop, review, proofread and provide clearance for a wide range of communication materials for use on FAO’s web and social media channels, ensuring consistency with FAO’s key messages, terminology and style.
• Produce multimedia content for use on digital channels and campaigns, including but not limited to infovisuals, videos, animations.
• Support the formulation of the corporate social media policy, influencer engagement strategy, encouraging the adoption of digital trends across the Organization. This includes giving trainings to staff on the use of social media.
• Perform other duties as required.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING
Minimum Requirements
• University degree in communication, social science, journalism, political science or a related field
• 1 year (for PSA) or 2 years (for Consultant) of relevant experience in digital communication and content production far digital platforms
• Working knowledge (proficient – level C) of English
