- Oversee mechanical maintenance activities for underground, and electrical & instrumentation maintenance activities for process and underground fixed assets to ensure system reliability and compliance with safety standards.
As Part Of Our Team You Will:
- Coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance operations to ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules for electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Handle logistics for electrical and mechanical maintenance operations .
- Monitor performance metrics and deliver maintenance reports.
- Coordinate budget and resources for electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and safety audits of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Solve operational issues and streamline electrical and mechanical maintenance processes.
- Train and guide electrical and mechanical maintenance staff on procedures and safety.
- Responsible for identifying relevant risks, implementing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risks.
- Responsible for conducting root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvements.
Your Training, Skills and Experience Checklist:
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s or PhD) may be preferred.
- Engineering Superintendent certificate of Competency or Engineering Manager’s Certificate of Competency.
Additional Knowledge:
- Competent ability to interact, influence and resolve conflict with various stakeholders.
- Competent experience in leading and developing teams.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance operations, systems management, demonstrating progression through roles of increasing responsibility.
