Duties (Responsibilities)
- Assess and submit requirements for all repair and maintenance work
- Assist in siting of new buildings
- Carry out repairs of all buildings such as tourist facilities and staff accommodation
- Carry out routine checks of all building as instructed by his/her supervisor
- Ensure the proper maintenance of all departmental assets/tools in the building workshop
- Ensure that all building stocks are adequate
- Liaises with Ministry of Construction for inspections on major renovations and new buildings
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- 5 O’ level passes
- Journeyman class 1 (Building/Bricklaying) or related qualification.
- At least 1-year relevant experience
- Knowledge of construction regulations
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Manual dexterity and physical strength
- Good communication skills
