Position Overview
As a Communications Intern, you will play a vital role in promoting Koneta Hub’s vision and initiatives.
You will assist in developing and implementing effective communication strategies, creating content,
managing social media, and engaging with our community and partners. This role is ideal for a
proactive and creative individual eager to make an impact.
Terms of Reference (TORs)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting and executing communication strategies for Koneta Hub projects and events.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and the website.
• Support the management of Koneta Hub’s online presence, including social media scheduling
and community engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to design promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and
reports.
• Draft press releases, blog posts, and other written materials to highlight Koneta Hub’s activities
and achievements.
• Capture and document events through photography, videography, or written summaries.
• Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on the organization’s visibility.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
• A degree or ongoing studies in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• A proactive, creative mindset with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
