Duties and responsibility for this position will include but not limited to the following.

• Supervise Boiler Makers, Fitters, Lubricators, Contractors and equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures daily.
• Manage shift roster, annual leave and sick leave etc. for the subordinates and ensure shift coverage.
• Conduct daily safety meetings for the crews
• Review and execute weekly maintenance schedules and ensure maintenance activities are prioritized and managed effectively
• Ensure the development and maintenance of up-to-date procedures for all tasks performed within the function
• Operate within the standard operating procedures (SOP) as directed by the maintenance coordinator
• Review maintenance tasks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

To be considered for the position, one must meet the following requirements:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum of an Advanced Certificate in Mechanical or in Metal Fabrication.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Crushers and Conveyor Structures maintenance.
• Must be computer literate with competence in MS excel with exposure to SAP or equivalent
• Proven ability to show initiative and deliver results and act as a change agent
• Demonstrate ability to deliver results and act as a change agent.
• Have a valid unendorsed Zambian drivers’ license
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia
