Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Review of the maintenance tasks and procedures including JSA and SWP
• Responsible for day-to-day inspections, maintenance of the conveyor belt, structures and conveyor belt idlers
• Complete all PM sheet and other job-related paper works to a high standard and quality focusing on the accurate Information and submit to supervisor.
• Able to work on both Fabric and Steel code conveyor belts.
• Maintain a positive interaction and profession work ethics through effective, honest communication with supervisor and operations personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues associated to with break down and corrective maintenance in a timely manner
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping in the area during and after completion of the job/task

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Certificate in Conveyor belts splicing
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience working with fabric and steel code conveyor belts
• Competent in working with both rubber lining and tiling of hoppers, launders and lagging of pullies
• Ability to do cold and hot conveyor belt repairs
• Good communication skills
• Must be conversant with safe work practices
