MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work from verbal/written instructions for routine workshop activities.
• Assemble and transport materials handling equipment.
• Assist with maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and parts.
• May be assigned to specific trade area (e.g., mechanical) and carry out some routine aspects of the trade activity.
• Apply knowledge of welding and fabrication activities.
• Complete basic reports and/or documents of work completed, as required.
• Communicate with the customer, where applicable.
• Network and attend local training.
• Learn how to prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to other.

JOB PURPOSE

• Carry out maintaining, repairing, and inspecting activities, using diverse tools and techniques, with limited supervision.
• Perform a range of fabrication works and maintenance activities on equipment and components according to defined specifications, covering mechanical and other trades
