• Providing Technical Expertise: Acting as a specialist to diagnose and complete less complex repairs on Cummins products at a single customer’s site.
• Engaging Customers Professionally: Ensuring courteous and efficient attention to customer needs, enhancing their overall experience.
• Utilizing Specialized Tools: Applying the use of specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs accurately.
• Coaching Customer Employees: Guiding customer employees on preventative maintenance activities and basic repairs to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Escalating Issues: Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced On-Site Technicians or Supervisors to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Completing Documentation: Accurately completing required documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
• Maintaining Work Area: Keeping the work area and tools clean and in proper operation to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Adhering to Safety Policies: Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and reporting any issues or incidents to site management and supervisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Valid Driver’s License: Essential for mobility and accessing various job sites.
• Valid EIZ Practicing Certificate: Required to legally practice and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Previous Experience Working on Generators: Critical for understanding the specific challenges and technical requirements of the job.
• Valid Passport: Necessary for any international travel related to the job.
• Electrical Diploma or equivalent is crucial for the technical aspects of the role, including diagnostics, electronic service tool application, engine systems interactions, and product repair and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience

• Certified Power Generation (Preferred)
• Current relevant electrical certification.
• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products
• High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)
• Customer service experience
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
