Job role
- Detect and report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, equipment failures, or safety violations.
- Ensure surveillance is active at all times and escalate critical incidents to the CCTV Supervisor or security team.
- Immediately respond to and log security and operational incidents, following established procedures.
- Coordinate with security teams, farm management, or external authorities in case of emergencies.
- Ensure all incidents are documented in the logbook, with accurate timestamps and relevant footage saved for evidence.
- Conduct routine checks on CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify and report any camera malfunctions, blind spots, or technical issues to the technical support team.
- Maintain proper archiving of surveillance footage for traceability and compliance.
- Monitor adherence to farm biosecurity measures, including hygiene protocols, restricted access areas, and equipment handling.
- Ensure compliance with security regulations and industry best practices for CCTV monitoring.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure CCTV footage is used only for official security purposes.
- Maintain a detailed log of shift activities, incidents, and equipment status updates.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly surveillance reports for management review.
- Assist in reviewing recorded footage to support investigations or audits.
- Ensures that Yalelo policies and procedures are always observed and adhered to by team members.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Line manager.
