The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Repairing and maintaining mobile equipment
• Compiling checklists or worksheets for submission to the Supervisor
• Carrying out condition monitoring functions on mobile equipment
• Conducting root cause analysis on equipment and recommending solutions
• Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
• Adhering to established Safety Regulations and Procedures
• Ensuring tools are clean and kept in appropriate places after use

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair
• Underground working and five years’ work experience will be an added advantage
• Good Communication Skills
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
