Key Duties & Responsibilities

• • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new and existing software applicationas.
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical design sessions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for software products.
  • Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
  • Ensure all software complies with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing development practices and tools.

Person Specifications

Academic Qualifications

• • An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Oracle Java Certification, or similar are an added advantage.

Work Experience

At least five (5) years of work experience in software development, three (3) of which must have been at Officer level in a reputable organization.
