To support the Protection and Communication Engineering team in maintaining, testing, and learning the design principles of protection, control, and communication schemes used in the electrical distribution network. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to protection systems, control equipment, and voltage regulation technologies, contributing to the safe and reliable operation of the network.

Impact

The trainee assists in ensuring the safety and reliability of the power system by participating in inspections, testing, and maintenance of protection equipment under guidance. Through this program, the trainee builds foundational knowledge in power system protection and prepares for future technical roles.

• Support routine checks and testing of protection relays and voltage regulation equipment.
• Observe and assist in the configuration and basic troubleshooting of protection devices.
• Learn how to read and interpret protection and control schematics.
