The purpose of the role is monitor and confirm inventory records ensure the accuracy of listed information. Review and analyze inventory paperwork, comparing it with actual stock or records to discover any discrepancies. Confirm adherence to processes/ SOPs and recommend strategies to improve or streamline processes
Key Responsibilities
- Perform spot checks to ensure accuracy of the counts by movements
- Reconcile the System stocks against physical stocks by location and push for timely closure of any reconciling items daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Communicate to warehouse management of any operational non-adherence to warehouse processes and SOPs
- Recommend any improvement plans or streamline processes.
- Ensure stock count procedures are communicated and respected by the warehouse teams.
- Coordinate monthly stock counts with the customer and ensure results are properly signed and any reconciling items identified are closed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all system transactions are posted accurately in line with source documents.
- Ensure all operations source documents that are used to update the systems are filed and archived.
- To be the contact person for any customer or internal audits.
- Responsible for setting tracking tools to monitor warehouse errors.
- Responsible for analyzing, understanding & explaining any shrinkages in cases of systems issues and any internal issues.
- Responsible for enforcing adherence to return management processes and SOPs.
- Extract, track and share risk of near expiry, stock on hold position with the site lead.
- Ensure non- conforming stocks are stored in a blocked location both physically & in the system and are only unblocked with proper authorization and process flow.
- Report all defects in defect book and must make sure truck in good condition and clean all the time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business statistics.
- Alteast 2 Year warehouse/logistics experience
- Inventory Management and WMS Experience
- Professional certificate in auditing or accounting will be added advantage .
