The Stock Verifier ensures inventory accuracy at vendor locations by reconciling physical documents and system records, enforcing operational SOPs, and reporting discrepancies back to the customer
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the P&L of the business unit to deliver on the agreed GP target
- Responsible for the operational delivery to the customer and organic growth of the business unit.
- Responsible for delivery quality services and proactively address customer issues
- Coordinate the resolving of operational issues and push for process improvements
- Lead and manage team; determine team structure, manpower planning, roles and performance targets in co-operation with GM and with functional leaders
- Evaluate performance and propose performance -based Incentive for direct staff
- Lead by example to reinforce behaviours associated with our culture (eg Respect & Results, Continuous Improvement, Employee Engagement)
- Responsible for KPIs and contract performance management
- Responsible for stocks management and accountability.
- Lead regular customer reviews
- Responsible material Replenishment planning working together with Customer planning function
- Ensure the site and operations always meet DHL standards
- Responsible for H&S, Security and Quality & BCM aspects in all contract site locations working together with relevant SMEs.
- Responsible for people & customer basics
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Telecommunications, Procurement and Supply Chain Management and logistics.
- Certificates/diploma in Inventory Management will be added advantage
- Any training in Safety will be added advantage
- Any training in finance for non-finance managers will be added advantage
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and logistics businesses, knowledge of operations preferably in Technology and FMCG sectors
- Alteast 3 years working experience in warehouse/ logistics preferably in leadership positions.
- Oracle / SAP and WMS Experience preferably JDA
- Excellent Computer literacy and presentation skills
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work well under pressure.
