Job Summary: The position holder will support the Radiography Unit at Mildmay Uganda by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that are safe, timely, and cost-effective, in line with established professional and institutional standards.
📋 Expected Key Result Areas:
- 🖼️ Radiological Imaging Services: Deliver high-quality radiological imaging to support accurate diagnosis for both general and private clients.
- ⚙️ Operational Efficiency: Support the smooth and effective daily functioning of the radiography unit.
- 📊 Resource Management: Ensure proper utilization and accountability of organizational resources to meet planned radiological objectives.
- ✅ Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain service quality in line with standard operating procedures and professional guidelines.
- 🤝 Team Collaboration: Actively participate in clinical team efforts to ensure coordinated and effective diagnostic services.
🎓 Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in radiography/medical imaging from a recognised Institution
- Valid registration and Licence with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council
- 2 years practical experience in radiology/sonography
- Experience in dark room management (image processing)
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS care issues
- Knowledge of the laws governing the use of radiation
- Knowledge of imaging equipment, software and terminology
