Uganda Cooperative Savings and Credit Union Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our financial resources and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and a proven ability to manage diverse administrative functions.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Location: UCSCU Head office, Maganjo, Bombo Road
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the organization’s administrative functions, including facilities management, procurement, and logistics.
- Provide regular financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
- Oversee the operations of the Central Finance Facility (CFF).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Professional Certification or Training at-least level 2 of. CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
Related Job Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in financial management in medium to large size organizations, with 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing financial controls and processes.
- Familiarity of usage of Sage Pastel Accounting Software.
- Proven experience to manage and engage teams for delivery of results
