Role Overview

The Community Mobilizer will act as the bridge between n-SiNGo and the communities we serve. You will lead outreach campaigns, organize community events, build trust-based relationships, and inspire individuals to join and actively participate in our programs.

Your role will be both strategic and hands-on, involving fieldwork, public speaking, and creative engagement tactics to reach diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Engagement – Identify, approach, and engage community members, leaders, and organizations.

• Awareness Campaigns – Organize and run events, meetings, and information sessions to promote n-SiNGo programs.

• Relationship Building – Establish and maintain trust with stakeholders from different backgrounds.

• Participant Onboarding – Guide interested individuals through the registration and participation process.

• Feedback Collection – Gather insights from the community to inform program design and improvement.

• Partnership Development – Work with local authorities, groups, and influencers to expand program reach.

• Reporting – Maintain records of activities, community feedback, and outreach results.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Marketing, or related field.

• 1–3 years experience in community outreach, field mobilization, sales, or advocacy.

• Excellent communication in English and at least one local language.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.

• Confident in public speaking and group facilitation.

• Willingness to travel and work in diverse environments.
