Responsibilities
- Perform expatriate case assessment to determine appropriate permit/visa option to minimize risk
- Advise clients on the Ghanaian immigration requirements
- Assist clients with full-stack immigration compliance
- Assist clients to resolve immigration-related issues
- Respond to all clients’ immigration queries, employee concerns and advise on the immigration guidelines, legal requirements, and procedures
- Prepare permit applications accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of changes in immigration policies/regulations and update clients in a timely manner.
- Manage day-to-day client communication and build value-added client relationship
- Work as a part of the unit’s business development team
- Work effectively with other team members to manage engagements with clients.
Qualifications
- Must have graduated from a recognized University in Ghana or overseas with a minimum of second class upper in Business, Human Resource, Law, Management, or a related discipline.
- A professional certification or a master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Adept in understanding and application of the immigration laws of Ghana
- Constructive and solutions focused approach to work.
- Strong relationship with key regulators such as the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Investment Promotion Center, Minerals Commission and Petroleum Commission.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Sound writing, oral communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
