Reports to: Programme Officer, Integrated Transport Infrastructure Services Programme
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Development Planning, Public Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Project Planning and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Masters in Development Planning, Public Finance, Taxation, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Project Planning and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Experience:
- At least five (5) years of practical working experience in development planning, budgeting, public financial management, audit, monitoring and evaluation.
Duties
- Support Leadership Committees, PWGs and TWGs in executing their respective programme coordination functions.
- Support organization of TWG meetings, workshops, and consultative sessions.
- Support and facilitate regular programme-level planning, budgeting, and performance engagements.
- Coordinate activities of both the Transport and Transport Regulation TWGs under the ITIS framework.
- Support the development and harmonization of Policies, Strategies, and Regulations governing transport operations, safety, and compliance in consultation with the Division of Policy Analysis and the Department of Transport regulation and Safety
- Mobilize Programme actors including MDAs, Development partners, private sector, Academia and civil society participation.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across public and private sector entities involved in transport operations and regulation.
