An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Geomatics from a recognized University.

WORK EXPERIENCE

A minimum of two (2) years

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Utilizing GIS software to analyze spatial data related to potential industrial park locations;
  2. Conducting spatial analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions;
  3. Preparing feasibility studies that incorporate GIS data to support decision-making processes;
  4. Monitoring project progress using GIS tools to track milestones and assess performance metrics;
  5. Presenting GIS findings and investment opportunities clearly and effectively to diverse audiences;
  6. Analyzing existing regulations affecting industrial park development and recommend improvements based on GIS insights;
  7. Providing training sessions for UIA staff and other stakeholders on the use of GIS technology in investment planning.

  2. Conducts spatial and trend analysis to inform industrial park planning, development strategies, and investment promotion initiatives.
  3. Prepares feasibility studies and reports integrating GIS insights to guide decision-making and project prioritization.
  4. Monitors and tracks industrial park project progress using GIS tools, assessing milestones and performance metrics.
  5. Presents GIS findings, investment opportunities, and spatial analyses clearly to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  6. Analyses regulations affecting industrial park development and provides recommendations for improvement based on GIS data.
  7. Provides training and capacity-building for UIA staff and stakeholders on GIS applications in investment planning and industrial development.
