Date Enumerator
Position: Enumerator (Data Collectors)
Number of positions: Twenty five (25)
Organisation: Health Access Connect (HAC), https://healthaccessconnect.org/
Location: Mpigi and Lwengo, Uganda
Contract Type: Temporary/ Part Time
Application Deadline: 20th January 2026
Background
The mission of HAC is to link remote communities to health care. HAC currently pursues this mission through two programs:
- Medicycles: We help remote communities to bring Ugandan government health workers to set up one-day integrated mobile outreach clinics every 1-2 months. In those outreach clinics health workers give HIV testing, anti-retroviral treatment, immunizations, perinatal services, family planning, and many other services available in rural health centres.
- Treat & Teach: We improve access to family planning in the communities of Masaka, Lwengo, Mpigi and Kalangala districts by a) providing low density high frequency certificate training to health workers, b) setting up outreach clinics in remote communities, c) reducing commodity stock outs by improving commodity tracking at partner health facilities.
In light of the above, Health Access Connect regularly conducts surveys to inform the programming aimed at achieving the above programmes. The data collection exercises are achieved with the support of Research Assistants/Enumerators whose services are sought on a needs basis. It is on the above background that Health Access Connect seeks to recruit enumerators who will be contacted from time to time.
