Job Title: Field Officer – Mass Business Registration
Reports to: Senior Registration Officer
No of Positions: Three (03)

Job Purpose
To assist in the implementation of the day-to-day operations of the mass Registration Strategy and engagement with clients on business registration processes Company Registration ensuring that they are in compliance with the statutory requirements and URSB policies and guidelines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Guide client on how to create accounts and submit their applications onto the online Business Registration System (OBRS)
- Receive and processes applications for the registration of companies,
business names and documents. - Conducts searches in the business registry and examination of applications, prepare search reports and provide feedback to clients on search requests.
- Sensitize the Business Community about their Rights and obligations with regard to Business Registration and formalization.
- Conduct and bring all Business Registration services nearer clients through operationalizing of mobile offices.
- Through mobile offices to provide assistance to the business community about
different procedures and requirements in Business formalization, registration. - Through Mobile Offices, to provide technical assistance to business community about the different procedures and requirements in Business formalization
- Issues appropriate forms and brochures to clients.
- Perform any other role as may be assigned by higher authority.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports submitted
Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications

- An Honours degree in law, Commerce, Social Sciences, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration.
Key Competences
-
- An Honours degree in law, Social Sciences, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise and network with other Government Departments.
- Experience in field work will be an added advantage
