DESIGNATION: BFS Team Leader -01
JOB IDENTIFICATION:
Department: Production
Reporting to: Section Head-BFS.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To coordinate all BFS machine activities in the production area, thereby ensuring compliance to CGMP standards as per the SOP in place.
JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:

| Supervision. | 1. To efficiently operate BFS machines to meet company targets.
2. To implement section SOPs and report if any deviations are observed to the Section Head- BFS. 3. To ensure the implementation of the environmental norms of various production areas as defined and to get the deviations corrected by the engineering department. 4. To ensure that all safety standards are met and comply with current GMP guidelines. 5. To participate and ensure implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule for the BFS machines. 6. To check the yield at various operational points to improve the result through correct implementation of SOPs. 7. To work with the engineering department in installing and commissioning new machines, equipment, and parts. 8. To implement cGMP norms in the production area and also during manufacturing and on a continuous basis. |
| Training | 1. To check the availability of trained staff.
2. To suggest periodic trainings wherever required to the BFS Section Head. 3. To ensure the training of staff on the changes in SOPs from time to time. |
| Communicating & reporting. | 1. To report abnormalities on a daily basis to the BFS section head.
2. To inform the machine breakdowns to the BFS section head and utility department immediately. 3. To implement the monthly plan as received from the Head of Production. 4. The regularly update the BFS head of section about activities in the BFS section. |
| Documentation. | · Ensure timely documentation of all ongoing production data and breakdowns in the logbook. |
AUTHORITIES:
- Timely troubleshooting and rectifying the machine issues.
- Timely communication of breakdown to section head.
- Review of machine-related documents.
- Communication of missing utilities to the Engineering department and Section Head.
- Maintain BFS machines and ensure clean machines & working environment.
- Train BFS machine operators.
- Supervise BFS machine activities in a shift.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience working in a relevant/similar company
- Ability to work with senior people
- Excellent report-writing skills

- Basic safety training
- Basic GMP training
- Leadership training
- Entry & exit into production area training
- Hygiene training
