The National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO) was established by the National Agricultural Research Act 2005 (Cap 197 of the Laws of Uganda) as a body corporate with the mandate to provide strategic direction for publicly funded agricultural research in Uganda. The Organisation is made up of a Council as its governing Body, a Secretariat for its daily operations, and 16 Public Agricultural Research Institutes (PARIs) under its policy guidance. To achieve NARO’s goal of increasing total factor productivity and access to agricultural research products and services for inclusive growth, the NARO invites suitably qualified Ugandans to apply for the following positions.
