Job Summary

The Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete pump trucks at construction sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate concrete pump truck in accordance with site plans and safety standards.

• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.

• Coordinate with mixer truck drivers and site personnel to ensure proper timing and sequence of concrete pouring.

• Monitor pump pressure and concrete flow to avoid blockages, overflows, or equipment damage.

• Clean and maintain equipment after use.

• Keep accurate records of volumes pumped, start/stop times, and operational issues.

• Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.

• Be willing to work at multiple project sites and under various weather conditions.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Certificate or formal training in concrete pump operations from a recognized institution.

• Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license and must have an Engineering Plant Class permit/license.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in operating concrete pumps in civil or construction projects.

• Knowledge of concrete mixes, pump operation, and site safety practices.

• Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance on the pump truck.

• Team player with good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong safety awareness and discipline.

• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
