The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies that drive brand growth, increase product demand, strengthen distributor networks, and support revenue targets. The role focuses on positioning the company as a leading plastics manufacturer through strategic market engagement, trade marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
- Analyze industry data to inform pricing, positioning, and product strategy.
2. Product Marketing
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing plastic product lines.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and trade campaigns.
- Develop product catalogues, brochures, and marketing materials.
- Work closely with production to align supply with promotional activities.
3. Trade & Distributor Marketing
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
- Develop promotional campaigns to increase product movement in key markets.
- Organize trade visits, exhibitions, and activation events.
- Support sales teams with promotional materials and pricing strategies.
4. Brand Management
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all marketing channels.
- Monitor brand perception and recommend improvements.
- Oversee corporate communications and public relations initiatives.
5. Campaign Management
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (offline and digital).
- Manage promotional budgets effectively.
- Evaluate campaign performance and optimize for better ROI.
6. Sales Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to track product performance.
- Analyze sales data and recommend marketing interventions.
- Identify underperforming regions and develop corrective action plans.
7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
- Track KPIs such as sales growth, market share, campaign ROI, and brand awareness.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management.

9. Qualifications & Experience
