Reporting into the Head of People Partnering this roles scope is:
- To provide a global, professional and pro-active recruitment service, partnering with HR business partners, hiring managers and staff across our network of offices to effectively deliver against business goals.
- To lead on the full recruitment process – from sourcing through to contract, for all employee vacancies in conjunction with the HR and the International Resourcing (IR) team.
- To embed new skills and approaches in the team including the promotion and sourcing, hire administration, onboarding, and system development.
This role focuses primarily on corporate resourcing:
- Enhance existing, and closely follow, a detailed recruitment process for all staff roles.
- Liaise with recruiting managers on resourcing requirements, ensuring job design meets the needs of the business and they are fully informed of the hiring process.
- Responsible for partnering with business managers and advising teams on resourcing options, developing resourcing plans and interview structures.
- Limit the need for external agency support by effectively and proactively sourcing and recruiting in talent directly.
- Where necessary, oversee any outsourced recruitment service in conjunction with the Head of People Partnering.
- Where necessary, liaise with recruitment agencies and other recruitment tools, such as local media or local HR providers, to resource appropriately.
- Effectively communicate Crown Agents added value, including the Employee Value Proposition, to potential candidates. This should include the use social media to resource and strengthen employer brand.
- Responsible for arranging and participating in selection interviews and assessment of employees.
- Responsible for negotiating packages with permanent/fixed term employees in co-ordination with the Head of People Partnering and HR Business Partners.
- Liaise with the rest of the HR team to enable the drafting and issuing contracts.
- Manage the company Glassdoor site including responding to comments.
- Report on a number of resourcing metrics to the HR Director to inform management reporting, using the talent acquisition system and other tools.
- Manage and maintain the data integrity of the Talent Acquisition system, including training other to use the system, as applicable.
In addition, this role will support project resourcing as required:
- Support the wider International Resourcing function on project/consulting hiring when demand necessitates.
- Work closely with the International Resourcing team to resource for projects, particularly when project employees are required, with a continual focus on commerciality and the margin impact on contracts.
- Responsible for determining the most appropriate contract type for a particular individual/role (e.g., contractor or fixed term employee)
