Malawi College of Accountancy, Malawis premier accountancy and business management training institution, would like to recruit highly motivated and results-oriented individuals for the following positions:
Lecturers in Accounting & Finance/Business Management/Economics/ Marketing (tenable at Blantyre and Lilongwe Campuses)
The main responsibility of this position is to deliver academic, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, in both face to face and ODeL classes and will involve the development of ODeL modules, student assessments, students’ counselling, and supervising students’ research. Successful applicants will also be expected to actively participate in academic research. Applicants who have recently published in reputable journals will have an added advantage.
Qualifications and Experience:
Lecturer in Accounting and Finance: Must have a relevant first degree in accounting and finance, plus a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance; or ACCA and a Masters degree plus a minimum of 3 years teaching or industry experience.
Lecturer in Business Management: Must have a relevant first degree and Masters Degree in Business Administration/Management or Public Administration or Marketing Management plus minimum of 3 years of teaching or industry experience.
Lecturer in Economics: Must have a relevant first degree plus a minimum of Masters Degree in Economics and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in education or industry. Experience or training in project management and research as well as the ability to ably teach quantitative techniques and statistics will be an added advantage.
Lecturer in Marketing: Must have a relevant first degree and Masters Degree in Marketing plus 3 years of teaching or industry experience.
