A Business Development intern in CISONECC plays a crucial role in fostering growth, sustainability, and the ability to fulfill the mission of the organization. This position involves identifying and pursuing opportunities to secure funding, partnerships, and resources essential for the organization’s success. The Business Development intern is responsible for creating and executing strategies that enhance the organization’s financial stability and its capacity to serve its target beneficiaries effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Fundraising and Grant Writing:
- Support identification of potential funding sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships.
- Support in develop and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations.
- Support in preparation of grant proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials.
- Support in organize and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Partnership Development:
- Support in identifying strategic partnerships and collaborations with other non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and businesses to further the organization’s mission.
- Support in building and maintaining relationships with potential partners and stakeholders.
- Support in negotiate and finalize partnership agreements and contracts.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Support in development and management of the organization’s proposal budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
- Program Expansion:
- Support identification of opportunities to expand or diversify the organization’s programs and services.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Support in collecting and analyzing data on the organization’s performance and impact.
- Support preparation of regular reports and presentations for the board, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Ethical Practices:
- Maintain high ethical standards in all fundraising and partnership activities.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial transactions and reporting.
