The Media Council of Tanzania (MCT) is an independent, voluntary, non-statutory self regulatory body established by the media fraternity in June 1995.

MCT’s mission is to create an environment that enables a strong and ethical media that contributes towards a more democratic and just society.

MCT is looking for volunteers; women and men regardless of their nationalities who can offer their services in an exciting environment.

MCT has identified the following skills for volunteers: Monitoring and Evaluation, Procurement and Supply, Mass Communication and Business Administration and Finance.
