Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and Motivated Fitter Mechanic to join our team. The Fitter Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment within manufacturing facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting to identify the root causes of equipment problems.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery components and parts for repair or replacement.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to perform mechanical work.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure machinery is functioning optimally.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications:
• Secondary school, diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in mechanical fitting is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Fitter Mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Understanding of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
