Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Attending briefing and debriefing meetings before and after flight arrival and departure
- Preparing check in counters, including displaying boards
- Checking in passengers and tagging baggage according to airline standards
- Issuing boarding pass to each passenger during check in process
- Weighing and tagging passenger carry on/ hand baggage to comply with standard hand baggage weight of customer airline
- Detecting, identifying and controlling dangerous goods carried by passengers or crew in their checked in or cabin baggage
- Detecting and addressing passengers with suspected communicable diseases
- Checking and collecting from passengers oversized and overweight baggage and cabin baggage at boarding gate
- Passing to load control weight of overweight and oversized baggage collected at boarding gate
- Identifying and denying boarding passengers who are under influence of alcohol
- Meeting and dispatching flights as assigned by supervisor
- Making announcements as required by customer airline
- Completing necessary flight documentation including counting transit passengers
Education Qualification
Minimum of Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism, Business Management or any related field.Applications which meet the above requirements should be submitted with a detailed up to date Curriculum Vitae (CVs) specifying qualifications, experience, certified copies of certificates, contact details and three traceable referees .
