The interested candidate will be responsible for

• Coordinating and supervising the production operations and production floor staff, including monitoring daily activities, production schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensuring adherence to quality control measures and production standards, optimizing production efficiency while minimizing wastage.
• Developing and implementing production plans, ensuring timely delivery of finished products while managing inventory levels effectively.
• Evaluating production processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
• Training, mentoring, and motivating production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Fostering a culture of safety and compliance with regulatory guidelines, overseeing the implementation of health and safety protocols within the production facility.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline operations and resolve any production-related issues.
• Monitoring and analyzing production data and KPIs, generating reports for senior management to drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualification and skills

• Grade 12 school certificate, Diploma in Logistics and Supply,  Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) working in a production supervisory role within the alcohol manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to foster a cooperative and results-driven team environment.
• problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders and departments.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
