We are seeking 3 (Three) Logistics Officers to join our team and manage the Logistics and Operations of our company. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the logistics process. The Logistics Officer will work closely with our Operations/HSE Manager and other departments to ensure that all logistics operations are efficient, cost-effective, safety-centered, and meet the needs of our customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Primarily involved in real-time online fleet tracking activities in line with the company’s Trip Management Policy and Procedure also give support to clients by sending routine/regular fleet tracking files and timely update to them. Also supervises driver movements to ensure timely execution of orders

Realtime on-line fleet monitoring/tracking to ensure all OBC rule violations are detected as and when they occur
Daily preparation of suitable extracted trip activity reports highlighting the degree of measurable compliance
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly OBC violations reports highlighting action plans and closure rate.
To always ensure all trucks have a live OBC status before loading and throughout the and trip after loading
To work in collaboration with the OBC service provider, HSE officers and the customers to ensure consistent utilization of the tracking system and proper interpretation of reports and results
Take part in all driver/transporter toolbox meetings to share meaningful lessons on management expectations as regards trip management requirements.
Daily and timely sharing with the dispatchers, truck availability/live positioning to ensure maximum availability of trucks for all orders and give meaningful advice on trip planning
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/Fleet management software
2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

3. Member of ZCILT

EDUCATION

Grade 12 certificate or certificate equivalent in either information and communication technology (ICT) (Diploma),Transport Logistics or Engineering Technician Level from a recognized learning institution

EXPERIENCE

1. Must possess at least 2 year post-qualifying working experience in fleet tracking.
2. Experience in Driver Management and Trip Management
