We are seeking a Volunteer Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team for a 3-month assignment (with potential for extension) to support our sales and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Assistance: Collaborate with our sales team to identify potential clients and generate leads. You will be responsible for assisting in reaching out to prospective customers, responding to inquiries, and providing information about our tours.
• Marketing Support: Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, including social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation. Contribute to the creation of engaging marketing materials, including brochures, blog posts, and promotional videos.
• Customer Engagement: Communicate with our clients, ensuring excellent customer service, addressing their inquiries, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
• Data Management: Maintain and update our customer database, keeping records accurate and up-to-date. Assist in tracking marketing campaign results and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Partnership Building: Help identify and establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations that can contribute to our sustainable tourism efforts.

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for travel, sustainable tourism, and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Must have access to working personal computer and smart phone.
• Must possess minimum qualification of MSCE or recognized High school certificate
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or the tourism industry is a plus but not required.
