About EcoGen
EcoGen believes that the transition to renewable energy, reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions, and adoption of regenerative farming are critical to ensure a thriving world for today and for generations to come.
We advocate for a world in which waste is a resource, and farmers are empowered and productive. Smallholder farmers produce over 80% of our food: our technology and services help them be more sustainable, productive and healthy.
EcoGen is the exclusive distributor of Sistema.bio in Malawi, a leading global social enterprise operating in Latin America, India and Africa. We provide farmers with a patented, 10-year warranty, waste-to-energy technology that is easy to install and maintain, includes after-sales service, and a long-term relationship with each farmer.
We train, sell and install our patented bio digestion systems so that small and medium farmers turn their waste into economic, health, and environmental benefits.
Our products are unique for their simplicity of use, durability and quality.
Today, thousands of farms are equipped with our systems in 30 countries with clean energy and fertilizers, and the market is growing rapidly. In Malawi, more than 200 biodigesters have already been installed in 3 years. By the end of 2025, our goal is to install 10,000 biogas systems, providing access to clean, renewable, and cost-effective energy, and positively impacting the lives of over 150,000 farmers in Malawi. At the global level, together with Sistema.bio, the goal is to reduce 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions and transform food systems.
