Key Responsibilities:

  • Take part in the development, and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the company’s growth and market leadership within the different categories starting with perfume and cosmetics distribution sector in Kenyan cluster in line with the strict guide lines of different Brands under distribution.
  • Lead the development and implementation of long-term and short-term business plans aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market share in Kenya.
  • Foster strategic alliances and relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, finance, and human resources, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to the leadership team, empowering them to achieve company objectives.
  • Develop and manage the company’s budget, financial forecasts, and profitability targets, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies while maximizing revenue streams and maintaining strong financial performance.

Key skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of Senior Management experience managing a successful business within the cosmetics or FMCG industry in Kenya.
  • Deep understanding of distribution business. Cosmetics market and/or Alcohol beverage sector in Kenya, including distribution channels, consumer behavior, and industry dynamics is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of strategic planning, business development, and delivering sustainable growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Impeccable reputation and trust is a must in the position.
