The purpose of the accountant will be to ensure financial compliance with the financial requirements of donors, adhere to reporting deadlines, and work closely under the guidance of the Country Finance Manager.
HPPSA is looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualities:
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric certificate.
- 3 years of tertiary qualification in accounting.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in the following:
- Preparation and production of financial reports as per HPPSA and funder requirements.
- A good level of planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of Sage Pastel Partner and have knowledge of the workings and reports of the package.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and word.
- Understanding of the NPO environment.
- Working under less supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of commitment and dedication.
