Your responsibilities:
- Ensure MI logistic guidelines, policies and procedures are followed and provide technical advice to Project Managers and logistics staff at all locations
- Closely follow and support the whole procurement processes to secure compliance in all areas incl. physical visits, tender management, supplier vetting, evaluation committee and contracting
- Secure efficient warehouse management, inventory and stock management as well as fleet management (incl. vehicle maintenance and repair)
- Create and/or develop effective supplier management to ensure database, procurement documentation, vetting process and standard price lists for goods & services are regularly updated
- Lead and supervise logistics team at all locations in South Sudan, provide training and guidance for all staff to improve knowledge sharing across the organisation
- Collaborate with Safety & Security Manager, establish anti-fraud and corruption control mechanism and report any suspected corruption and fraud cases in logistics and procurement

Your profile:
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional background in a leading logistics position of an international NGO, with knowledge of local context in South Sudan and work experience in a challenging work environment of the humanitarian sphere
- Accomplished and skilful individual with a university degree (e.g. supply chain management, logistics, business administration) and extensive technical experience in logistics, procurement, compliance and administration
- Positive attitude that allows you to be a great leader and team member while exercising professional organisational skills to develop staff and optimise processes
- Very well-versed in understanding IT infrastructure and using common office software, particularly Microsoft Sharepoint, Excel and Teams
- Excellent communication skills with external and internal stakeholders, fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of (Juba) Arabic is an asset
