The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the Company’s quality unit at one of the operational sites.
This involves direct supervision and implementation of processes according to a selected GFSI
benchmarked standard towards the quality and safety of our products (cocoa juice & pulp). You will
review and monitor activities and related records from farm to finished products and enforce good
manufacturing and hygienic practices systems along the value chain with requisite documentation for
all quality related audits (internal, regulatory and certification).
OVERALL DUTY
Implement internal and external standards to ensure Koa’s products meet stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor and review defined policies, specifications, plans, schedules etc. and make input towards improvement.
• Maintain all regulatory certifications and licenses.
• Directly implement quality requirements on new projects in designated site
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor product quality and safety.
• Establish and implement processes and certification of product related certifications.
• Coordinate resources and skills through training and development.
• Implement customer satisfaction measures through the provision of required information
related to product and process.
• Resolve and implement actions for customer complaints and see through for resolution and
effectiveness.
• Oversee resource planning and supervision for laboratory.
• Implement agreed process improvement, efficiency, and reduction of waste.
• Review and guide system documentation and management for comformity.
• Review monitoring results and policies for improvement and where nonexistent, propose
for consideration and establishment.
JOB REQUIREMENT
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
BSc (MSc is a plus) in Food Process Engineering/Food Safety/Quality Design/Food Science/Food
Technology/Chemical Engineering or related field
• A certificate in HACCP or FSMS
WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 years’ experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems
• Minimum 3 years in a role of management
• At least 5 years’ experience in Food/feed, drugs or related industry.
• Experience in certifications and external audits
• Knowledge of current industry standards and technologies
