We are searching for a Host or Hostess to be a part of our company. You will be the first point of interaction for our visitors. Your duties comprise of welcoming guests, providing precise wait times and accompanying clients to the eating and bar areas.
For this position, you must have excellent organizational and people management abilities. You should be certain that our visitors have an affirmative eating experience from the minute they reach till they leave. You must also be accessible to work in different shifts. You have to make sure we offer exceptional customer service and an enjoyable feasting experience to our visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors to the sitting area
- Check the reservation book for reservations for the next meal period.
- Distribute reservations among all servers equally, informing them of all information necessary. Example, Birthdays, anniversaries, bill not to be taken to the table or any other unusual requests.
- You must have complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus: The ingredients; the preparation; how items are served and with what; know your prices; know the daily specials.
- Once the guests are seated, hand them the menu in their hand and tell them who their server will be. Then tell them to enjoy their time.
- On departure of a guest, you must make contact with them. Ask them how their time was and say good-bye.
- If there are any complaints, retrieve a manager or supervisor immediately
- Provide precise interval times and monitor the waiting lists
- Escort clients to allocated dining or bar areas and provide them a pleasing dining experience
- Offer menus and allot them Waiter/Waitress
- Keep a track of which tables have placed their orders
- Keep the reception area clean. Coordinate with the janitorial staff for the same
- Provide extra attention to guests like children or senior citizens
- Performs other job-related duties as required

Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Degree/ Diploma in hotel Management or equivalent.
- High school education is a must for this role.
- Certification Hospitality industry and minimum of one year experience will be preferred.
- Earlier work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress in a reputable restaurant or Hotel.
- Knowledge of restaurant protocol.
- Understanding of health and safety guidelines.
- Know-how in handling reservations.
- Willingness to work in shifts, on holidays, nights and weekends.
- Pleasant personality with good customer service skills.
- English Communication is a must.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skill is mandatory.
