Mechanical Officer is responsible for supporting Field Teams in all technical issues related to
Generators. The position holder should ensure that effective Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
on sites are carried out without any technical failure due to team incompetence in accordance to the
agreed Service Level Agreement [SLA]. The person shall also ensure all sites generators are properly
maintained according to the OEM recommendations and services are done properly.
KEY TASKS
• Provide Mechanical technical support to Preventive Maintenance teams on each site when
required
• Perform site generator Audit as per customer SLA
• Ensure proper use of consumables and spares
• Ensure Proper utilization of company properties (Working tools)
• Provide technical support to Field teams whenever request arise
• DATA integrity
• Timely escalation of issues found during any activity on site
• Compliance to MTTR and MTTF per site class

• Provide Mechanical technical support to Preventive Maintenance teams on each site when
required
EDUCATION
A minimum of Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
EXPERIENCE
• At least Three (3) years of related experience. An experience working in Telecommunication
industry will be an added advantage.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Ability to perform maintenance and fix issues in generator rating from 8KVA to 60KVA
• Ability to do diagnosis on generator problem and provide solution to the problem while
ensuring the same problem will not repeat.

• Valid Driver’s license(optional)
