Purpose of the position:

To support JTILS Leaf quality team by being more agile and increase efficiency in the area of responsibilities in terms of;

Ontime shipments execution.
Reduction of number of NCR’s(non-conformity reports) upon arrival in destinations and ensure clean deliveries.
Guarantee quality Logistic reports.

Requirements:

Degree or Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Atleast 1 year in related field
English- speak,read and write
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Prepare readiness reports and share to Global leaf inbound team and TCC for shipping instructions issuance.
Perform all Logistics system transactions for both local and export shipments.
Manage Onsite IPM activities to ensure infestation free environment for both green and dry tobacco warehouses.
Ensure proper house keeping and deep cleaning is done to JTILS tobacco storage areas.
Receive weekly beetle monitoring reports from AOI for review and taking necessary actions.
Ensure adherence to JTI warehouse best practices.
Checking and ensure accuracy of shipping documents from freight forwarders before sending to Leaf inbound team for review and approval.
To prepare documents and apply for tobacco export permits from Tanzania Tobacco Board through ATMIS system.

Conduct a monthly/quarterly stock taking for the packed tobacco in the warehouse and share results/report to management.
Support green tobacco receiving operations at factory
Shipment management.
Receiving shipping instructions from TCC and Leaf inbound team.
Planning for factory loading.
Communicate with transporter for trucks positioning.
Container & truck quality inspection and ensure compliance to JTI container & truck specification manual.
